Chicano Batman is joining the Música Ford family with this seriously fun campaign.
The best part of my job is finding new artists that I immediately love the first time I hear them. (And the most humbling part is finding out that my partner is already a fan and I’m behind the times on my music discovery 😆). Anyway, Chicano Batman is amazing and I’m so glad that I discovered them thanks to this Música Ford partnership! (also totally loving all of the super fun BTS pics from this shoot showing how the magic happens)
This Chicano Batman x Música Ford campaign is a continuation of a long-standing, successful relationship between MAX and Ford—and a great example of the diverse range of artists who have been a part of the program. The Música Ford program has included artists from a TON of different genres, from reggaeton to banda to ranchero to rock to pop—and now, soul music.
Honestly, “soul” isn’t exactly right either, though. Chicano Batman blends such a wide range of stylings in their music and it’s hard to narrow down to a single genre that defines them (and isn’t that true of a lot of music these days?). I love the content from this campaign where the members of Chicano Batman talk about their musical inspirations and songwriting process—it’s always fascinating to me seeing the creative process of an artist.
The content from this campaign is straight up fun—and judging by all of the behind the scenes pics from the production shoot, that’s because everyone on set was honestly having a great time! Shout out to MAX Senior Director/Producer Francis Juarez (seen here in his natural habitat) for sharing so many awesome BTS stories, pics, and videos!
