Coors Light’s “My Climb. My Music.” campaign features a diverse group of breakthrough artists, including Grammy award-nominated Panamanian hip-hop duo Los Rakas.
Coors Light’s “My Climb. My Music.” program features artists from across the country sharing their music and stories through documentary-style videos about how their climb has defined them as artists. The music and videos giving a glimpse into artists’ daily lives are distributed across streaming services, top FM radio stations, and social media. MAX identified Los Rakas as the perfect artist match for Coors Light’s “My Climb. My Music.” campaign highlighting Los Angeles artists.
Coors Light is partnering with Los Rakas for the May 2017 “My Music. My Climb.” program in Los Angeles. Throughout the month, Coors Light is promoting new music and sharing interview video footage featuring Los Rakas through FM radio, streaming audio, social media, and online video. This campaign creates a unique experience for Coors Light customers while promoting Los Rakas across multiple channels and platforms.

This campaign features Los Rakas’ original song “Besame” and unique video content about their music, their story, and their climb.
Grammy award-nominated bilingual group Los Rakas consists of Panamanian cousins Raka Rich and Raka Dun. Los Rakas are breaking boundaries by integrating different genres of music, and in 2015 their pioneering made them the first Spanish speaking artists to perform at Coachella. Their music is created to empower others to become successful no matter where they come from. They have performed alongside artists such as Snoop Dogg, J Balvin, and Ice Cube. Los Rakas have garnered more than 10M views on YouTube and had one of their singles featured in FIFA 22.
