Ivy Sole × Coors Light

Ivy Sole × Coors Light

My Climb. My Music.

Coors Light’s “My Climb. My Music.” campaign features a diverse group of breakthrough artists, including Philly rapper/singer/hip hop artist Ivy Sole.

The Campaign:

The “My Climb. My Music.” program features artists from across the country sharing their music and stories through documentary-style videos about how their climb has defined them as artists. The music and videos giving a glimpse into artists’ daily lives will be seen through streaming services, top FM radio stations, and social media. MAX identified Ivy Sole as the perfect artist match for Coors Light’s “My Climb. My Music.” campaign highlighting up and coming Philadelphia artists.

Ivy Sole (she/they/ivy) self describes as a Black Queer Radical. In her music and in her life, she is dedicated to the liberation of marginalized people through both personal activism and systemic change. She uses her visibility to educate people about the struggles faced by Black trans women and Black queer teens (who face higher rates of homelessness than most other groups) and employs her resources to help Black women facing housing instability.

Ivy Sole called the partnership with Coors Light a “match made in heaven,” highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainability and conservation.

The Song: “Taken

This campaign features Ivy Sole’s haunting song “Taken,” about jealousy, longing, and unrequited love.
