Victoria Yip

Victoria Yip is a first-generation Chinese American with an unmistakable knack for the music scene that also goes hand in hand with a disturbing amount of Seinfeld quotes and meme knowledge. On the Artist Relations team at MAX, she curates and secures artists for MAX’s brand partnerships and media campaigns. Her work at MAX has stretched across many different genres and multiple artists of all sizes. Victoria has negotiated brand partnerships for established artists such as Mat Kearney (Canon), Gavin DeGraw (Snapple), and Dawes (Honda) – and has pushed the envelope to partner major brands with up-and-coming breakthrough artists such as The New Respects (Ford), Ivy Sole (Coors Light), and Vérité (Acura). Victoria is all about bridging the gap between brands and artists – not only artists who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to be in front of major brands, but also those wary of “selling out” to big brands. After all, Victoria’s mission is to push the boundaries of branding’s status quo and bring more underground artists, especially female artists and artists of color, to the spotlight.
