Singer-songwriter BRELAND is partnering with McDonald’s to “music and chill” with a McDonald’s frozen carbonated beverage.
“Cross country” singer-songwriter BRELAND spent some time talking to McDonald’s about his career in music, the music he listened to growing up, and the kind of music he loves to create.
Growing up in a household filled with gospel music gave BRELAND the technical skills and vocal tools he has carried with him throughout his musical journey. While he is often associated with country music, BRELAND almost always blends other genres into his music, whether it’s gospel, R&B, pop, blues, or reggaeton.
In the video highlighting his partnership with McDonald’s, BRELAND opens up about the insecurities he felt when his debut single started garnering success and attention, and about his journey to discover who he is as an artist and where he fits into the music industry. He also talks about the tour stops he’s most excited about on his upcoming tour and reminisces about going to McDonald’s with his dad when he was a kid.

He started writing music as a teenager and drew on influences from R&B, Gospel, and Country music and from artists like The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Rascal Flatts. He gained the nickname “The Pen Point Guard” because of his songwriting abilities for music featured on Ar’mon & Trey’s, Ann Marie’s, YK Osiris’, and ELHAE’s albums. His song “My Truck” propelled him to become the solo artist we know today, and so far, he has grown an audience of over 3.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
